Community Intergration
- Fundamental to the definition of community integration is the expectation that individual with disabilities or gracefully aging, can have the same opportunity to live in the community as everyone else. Living in the community requires the ability to seek employment, housing, education or simply pursue leisure and civic activities of one's own choice. The passage of a landmark federal law and the Supreme Court's interpretation of that law have established community integration as a legal right for people with any form disability.
